Ever wanted to try a new to you but ancient form of tapestry? Well now’s your chance with my Bargello glasses case stitch kits.
Bargello or Florentine stitching began way back in the 13th Century but had a huge resurgence in the 1970’s. Think bold designs and bright vivid colours.
Each kit comes with everything you need, except scissors, to make your very own 70’s inspired Bargello glasses case.
Included in your kit is:
British tapestry wool & tapestry needle
Canvas cut to size
Metal snap frame
Full completion instructions

Basic Bargello stitch guides
You have a choice of three wonderful kits:
1) Bea - coloured in diamond (intermediate)
2) Flora - 70’s inspired flower pattern (intermediate)
3) Zelda - colourful zig zag design (beginner)
Each kit has been designed by me in my tiny studio in Newcastle upon Tyne. To complete each glasses case I would estimate there is around 12 hours of stitching so this is a perfect craft to sit with a lovely cuppa, a slice of something nice and a cosy seat to work away.
