How to showcase a fabulous piece of Vintage fabric? With a free standing floor lamp that's how!
This stunning floor lamp has been made by hand, by me in my tiny Newcastle upon Tyne workshop.
The is an original 1970s fabric which has the most wonderful texture and design. It has kept it's vibrant colours and beautiful natural texture and makes this floor lamp simply shine whether it's lit or not. It really does make a statement and the best bit is, this is absolutely unique, an absolute one of a kind. I had the smallest remnant of this fabric and used it all in making this lamp.
I have made this lamp using a simply cylinder design. The frame itself houses the lamp fitting, with three small tripod feet at the base to keep your lamp stable. The light cord has a fitted switch for easy on off access and adheres to all UK electrical standards.
The dimensions of the floor lamp are:
Full height, from floor : 79cm
Height of lampshade : 74cm
Diameter of lamp : 20cm
Cord length to switch : 65cm
Full cord length to plug : 230cm
The lamp fitting requires an E27 screw in light bulb (not supplied).

All of my lampshades and floor lamps adhere to UK lighting standards. All hard shades are made using fire retardent backings.
